If you are looking for a tropical beach
holiday packed with excitement and lots of relaxation with
an affordable price tag, Zanzibar is the places for you.
This island paradise offers
exceptional value for money with high standards of service.
It is reputed to have some of the most magnificent diving
locations in the world. Temperatures range up to 27
all year round ensuring that the dive is fun all the way
with the warm waters. Over time
Zanzibar Island has seen the change from the trade
center to a romantic island where people come to seek
the quietness of the blue-waters, lie on the sandy
beaches, go diving or snorkeling. The coral reef structures that surround Unguja
and Pemba ensure that marine life is present and in
abundance.
Zanzibar is located about 40 Km (25 miles) off the coast of
East Africa, in the Indian Ocean, approximately 5 degrees
south of the Equator. The northern tip of Pemba is almost
adjacent to the Tanzanian port city of Tanga while the
southern tip of Unguja lies alongside the historic mainland
city of Bagamoyo. There are many pure, beautiful beaches in
and around the numerous islets and coves. Tourism is
not as developed on Pemba as it is on Unguja but resorts are
being built and the infrastructure will undoubtedly improve
as tourism increases.

The island of Zanzibar conjures up
everything one could want from a tropical
escape. Spectacular palm fringed white sand
beaches, warm tropical waters, simple
fishing villages, exciting diving locations,
hospitable people and relaxing beach
resorts. From the shores the great European
explorers Burton, Speke, Kraph, Reubman and
Livingstone set out on their voyages of
discovery into the hinterland.
